About Credlytic

Credit decisions should start with information.

Eliminate blind credit-card applications in India by giving every consumer access to eligibility intelligence, current issuer policy, and personalised guidance — before they apply.

01 / Why Credlytic exists

Applying should not be the way you find out.

A rejected application costs 10–30 CIBIL points. Three rejections inside six months can take 50–90 points off a score — leaving someone further from approval than when they started.

  1. 01

    Blind applications

People apply without knowing their odds. Every rejection leaves a hard inquiry and costs 10–30 CIBIL points, making the next application harder.

  2. 02

    Credit-report errors

Wrong loan entries, ghost accounts and delayed updates suppress scores quietly, and most people cannot read their own report well enough to spot them.

  3. 03

    Policy opacity

Income thresholds, fees and reward structures change without notice, buried inside 40-page MITC documents nobody reads.

  4. 04

    Guidance that isn't neutral

Comparison sites rank by affiliate commission rather than personal fit, so the same list is shown to every visitor.

  5. 05

    No path forward

After a rejection, people are told to "improve your credit score" — which is not a plan, a timeline, or an action.

02 / How it works

Intelligence before application.

Three layers, each answerable for a different part of the decision.

  1. Layer 1

    Eligibility engine

A gradient-boosted ensemble estimates approval confidence, risk tier and an expected limit range across the card set at once.

XGBoost + LightGBM, explained per prediction with SHAP

  2. Layer 2

    Policy retrieval

Issuer criteria are read from the actual source documents, so a policy change propagates by re-ingesting a PDF rather than editing code.

Vector retrieval over MITC, eligibility and RBI documents

  3. Layer 3

    Advisory agents

Specialised agents cover credit analysis, card value, policy compliance and guidance, then reconcile into one accountable answer.

Supervisor-routed agents with cited, traceable output

03 / Market

A market growing faster than its guidance.

India has more than 118 million credit cards in circulation, yet only a quarter of credit-active consumers hold one. The gap is not demand — it is information.

04 / How we operate

What we will and will not do.

Credlytic is free to use. Issuers pay a referral fee when an application succeeds, and a paid tier is planned. Neither changes how results are ordered.

  • Ranked by fit, never by commission

Results are ordered by approval confidence and what a card is worth against your spending. Commercial arrangements never move a card up the list.

  • Every claim carries its source

Statements about issuer criteria cite the document they came from and the date it was reviewed, so you can check the reasoning rather than trust it.

  • Checking costs you nothing

Assessing eligibility with Credlytic does not request a bureau inquiry and does not affect your credit score.

  • We do not promise approval

Credlytic estimates confidence from published criteria and the profile you provide. The issuer decides, and may use data we cannot see.
